Dr. Lu Wang is a theoretical and computational physicist. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, nonlinear optics, numerical method, and light-matter interaction for dielectrics and Dirac semimetals. She is specialized in the terahertz regime. Her research involves coming up with novel ideas to explain/enhance given nonlinear effects. Additionally, she builds mathematical and numerical models for frontier experiments with complex optical systems.

Theoretical physicist who loves art
-
I have obtained CEFA Professional Ballet Teacher Qualification, China-Russian Joint certificate (level 6)
-
From time to time I collaborate with artists on art-science combined projects such as fashion design, paintings, etc.
-
I wrote songs with mean lyrics for bad supervisors I had during my scientific career to express my frustration
-
I am looking forward to new adventures and being passionately curious about anything unknown.
